Cryptoeconomic Systems has adopted a quality over quantity approach to blockchain research, and accepts only the best articles for each issue. In order to ensure fairness in our publication process, we have drafted submission guidelines for prospective authors. A full account of these guidelines may be found on our Submissions page. This page also includes instructions on how to prepare your manuscript for our peer revew process, as well as some information regarding how we evaluate articles for publication. Please note that Cryptoeconomic Systems also employs an Open Peer Review Policy to bring additional transparency to our publication.
Depending on where they are submitted, accepted papers will either be published in the Cryptoeconomic Systems Journal, a Diamond Open Access journal published by the MIT Press, or presented at the Cryptoeconomic Systems annual conference. Exceptional conference papers will also be published in the Journal (with author permission). Whether submitting to the Journal or the Conference, authors are responsible for obtaining appropriate publication clearances.
Cryptoeconomic Systems strives to be a safe, inclusive, and collegial environment for all members of our community. As such, we have a zero-tolerance policy for discriminatory, disrespectful, or offensive speech, violence, or other violations of our Code of Conduct. We expect that all members of our community are treated with respect, regardless of the circumstances. Please read through and understand our full Code of Conduct before participating in the Cryptoeconomic Systems community so we can ensure a pleasant and productive experience for all.
Authors should also report any potential conflicts of interest to the Editorial team during the submission process. Please respect the latest editions of The ACM Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, COPE, and our Code of Conduct in all aspects of conference and journal interactions, as well as following any other applicable industry best practices.
